Tell us which membership tier your organization belongs to
*What is your organization’s annual publishing revenue in USD?

We have different membership fee tiers depending on your publishing revenue. Please provide your total annual publishing revenue below to help us work out the right tier for you. Total annual publishing revenue needs to include revenue from all the divisions of your organization (the member is considered to be the largest legal entity). This includes all types of publishing revenue - advertising, sales, subscriptions, databases, article charges, membership dues, etc.

If you don’t have revenue, we look at total annual publishing operations expenses, which includes hosting, outsourcing, consulting, typesetting, etc.

Make sure you give your annual revenue in USD and not your local currency.

If your organization is eligible for the GEM program, we still need this information for our records, but you will not be charged an annual fee.

*What's your billing postal address? This is the address that will appear on your invoice - do check with your finance team what it needs to be. (If you are eligible for the GEM Program, we still need this for our records).

Please provide the details of appropriate contacts at your organization

We need a range of contacts at your organization to make sure we can always reach the relevant person and ensure that you have a smooth experience. We need at least three different email addresses across these five contact types.

Some contacts can be used for more than one role


Who will be the Primary contact?*

This is the main contact on your account who will be responsible for ensuring that you meet your obligations. They’ll receive our product and service updates plus Resolution Reports for the DOIs that you register with us.








Who will be the Voting contact?

This contact will vote in our board elections. Although you can use a generic, shared email address here, we do need the name of a specific person to be your voting contact.








Who will be the main Technical contact?

This person will be the main technical contact on your account. They’ll receive technical updates including DOI Error Reports and Conflict Reports for the DOIs that you register with us, and will probably be the person responsible for registering your content with us. We will use their email address to set up your account credentials. We would encourage you to supply a shared, generic email address where possible.








Who will be the Metadata Quality contact?

This contact will be responsible for fixing any metadata errors that we or our users uncover.








Who will be the main Billing contact?

This contact will receive your invoices by email (annual membership and ongoing Content Registration fees). They will be the person we contact if there are any problems with paying your invoices. We would encourage you to supply a shared, generic email address where possible. If your billing platform has an email address to send invoices to, please use this. Do note that we are unable to manually upload invoices into a payment platform. (If you are eligible for the GEM Program, please still provide a contact).







Additional contacts (optional)
You may optionally designate additional contacts to receive billing, technical and resolution information. If you don't want to add any further contacts, please leave all these fields empty, and just click the Next button at the bottom of the page.
Other contacts to receive Resolution Reports?

Your Primary contact will receive regular Resolution Reports for the DOIs that you register with us showing how often they are clicked and how many fail. Would you like anyone else to receive these reports too? You can leave this section blank if you don’t want anyone else to receive these reports.
